AP diver GOLD interest check..

Whats up? Yes maybe it is a "lie" but the "gold' is holding up better then any other "gold" I have had on a rep... in 13 years of rep collecting.

you see they not stupid too, they said "similar" Lol...but they are not DLCed. Yes they hold up extremly well, but definitely not as well as real DLC coating processed.

In the gen world, i have never heard of gold can be DLC-ed onto steel...

DLC is a form of PVD. PVD is Particle Vapour Deposition and can be done with any of the same materials that can be chemically plated. So yeah, gold and silver, platinum etc should all be able to be PVD coating a surface.

silly me, gen is casted out of a solid gold block...lol no wonder, I never heard of gold DLC...I will ask my master watchmaker later..lol very interesting topic it had turned into..thank you dutchy!

This is my take about gold DLC on reps, but I still dont believe they did this in gold. In my opinion, why would they used DLC when they can simply have them plated the most traditional way?

Im just thinking...for better assurance in the product quality, that's why the sales pitch?

sorry sharky i didn't know about the bezels, full ceramic diver?? jeeez i never heard about this full ceramic diver Lol some callobration project like the blackout..?

We just handled a cheapo diver blackout a few days ago...second hand is chromed same as it's hour/minute hands yucks!

If you can work out if the black bezel fits this watch then I will order from you straight away, maybe also another watch or two
