Hi

Sorry, but IMHO these straps are the best way to ruin this beautifull and smart watch.

Besides, don't forget it is a DIVER watch. So, the correct strap would be rubber or metallic.

I repeat. It is just my opinion. Sorry

True that it's a Diver watch. But honestly, would you dive with a 15K watch and these straps brings this one out of the water into a world of class!
Eric, I will soon order one too.

Sorry again my friends

Since it is a taste question...
Perhaps you are right and I am wrong...
Perhaps it is an habit problem...

I will try seeing these straps with other eyes from now.
Really the choc-croco is amazing for an AP Themes.
Is it the same for the Diver???
I promise you thinkig about…

I actually agree with Ale7575 to a certain degree, but this is only if you look at it purely as a dive watch.
I just sometimes get bored with always the same look and the idea was to give the Diver a different character and it really does work with these straps.
The tan hornback makes it look very classy and almost elegant while the grey snake gives it an urban - rockstar-ish feel.
It's just nice to be able to change it up every once in a while (just think women: sometimes you want the librarian and sometimes you want the wh.... :) )
Once I get the black shark hide in it will be a nice water-friendly alternative to the rubber and Ale can buy one :)

At first the straps looks apsolutly stunning!
But I have a question and I dont want to open a new thread extra for it.
Will the AP ROO Diver look ridiculous on a 6.5" wrist? I just want that baby so much but Im scared that it is just too big :(.

Can someone share some experience with me?

Greetings

Dear Donerix,
Firstly, many thanks for your correct and polite post.
I think this is the way to explain and understand things and opinions.
From this moment I will see your strap with other eyes.
Anyway, I respect and I am amazed at your very well made works (of art). :notworthy:

Of course, when I had a Diver I will consider seriously the choc-croc.
Many thanks again my friend, it is a pleasure speaking and discussing with you.
Regards

Hi Wiz
Many thanks for your post.
Obiously I agree with you.

And you can see, by reading along the thread, I am changing my first opinion and others are understanding me, just by a polite and correct discussion.
These are the beautiful things of this forum and the people relations.

Thanks again for your kindness

ALE7575 - Now that's a classy post.

I don't even have a Diver yet, but when I do I'll be ordering a snake. It's just too damned beautiful.

I have a 7" wrist and it wears very comfortable:

I would say if you can wear any 44mm Panerai you will have no problem at all.
On another note after having measured quite a few wrists: wrist size isn't as important as most people think. Wrist shape and how the rest of your arm and hand looks is just as important.
For example: I wear a 52mm Egiziano and it looks fine, but I have a friend who has exactly the same wrist size, but long and slim forearms and hands and he can't wear a 47mm Panerai because it looks like he mounted a soup bowl on his arm.

If you can just go to an AD and try one on.

I see that Choc-Croc on a Ti Chronopassion...

As always a taste question.

But the cool grey (all grey) of Chronopassion... and the warm brown of the choc-croc...??

I have a Chronopassion and your grey color is very intense and cool to combine with other colours. IMO.
But, perhaps I'm wrong.

Anyway, you can see the effect in the PHOTOSHOP MONTAGE below:
