Hi. Can anyone refer a watch repair service for reps in the US? I’m in Texas. The crown broke on my AP diver.

Ok might be hard to help. 2824 is easy, 3120 clone not so much

I had the same thing happen last fall on my Seamaster. I needed it fixed quickly so I dropped it off locally but to send it out, I’d try Katt in the US I imagine it’s an easy fix for him or any watchmaker. I paid about $100 to have it fixed but I bet fees vary

Who’s Katt? Do you have a contact? Thank you.
Katt only works on 2824 clones. So that's why I asked at the beginning about the movement.

It might be worth asking the watchmakers listed here, Katt is one of them, or reaching out locally. My local watchmaker can work on a variety of movements. I think manipulating the keyless works is a similar principle for all of them, so he was able to do the job for me although he was puzzled by the Seamaster’s faux jewels He. Must’ve know the watch is a rep although neither he nor I openly pointed that out.

The worst thing that can happen is the watchmaker will refuse to work on a rep or claim he can’t do it. If it were me, I’d keep on asking online and in person until I find one who will take the job. I have a feeling someone will agree to it
