How does this compare to the AP gen crystal?

It depends what xtal you want but no gen is double coated. Here you go:

ROO: non coated (still need to post my comparison thread, I have both gen and rep crystals), the new 42mm released at SIHH do have an AR coating on the inside
ROO Diver: coated on the inside
ROO 44mm: coated on the inside
15300RO: non coated
15400RO: coated on the inside

It's all a matter of personal taste. If you want a nice popping dial go for double ar, if you want as per gen, use my list.
