AP carbon diver anyone

I've been told that this is a prototype with a couple off issues, this was sent to me to see if I was interested, and I asked if I could post it here to gather interest in the project.

They must be doing something right as most people said it was def gen from the first pic I posted

Very very promising. Carbon case will need to be improved for sure, but other than that it's very decent.

Carbon case and non-Ti case-back are fail, but the rest looks very nice. As Zorro said, great watch for donor parts.

Given that this watch is a prototype, the case issues should hopefully be solved by the time it comes out. I'm just hoping that time is very soon.

they have got the CF completely wrong .(wrong choice of materials ).using the wrong FC Technic ..results very uneven surface & finish...FC is an exact technical process and Science ... hence unsatisfactory results !!...

Not perfect, but shows potential. That inner bezel looks great. I see an improvement on the 3.5 very soon !

Excuse my ignorance zorro, but isn't the combination of resin and carbon fiber what makes the unique texture and pattern of composite? I agree that something must have been wrong with the baking process...but if this is really forged carbon composite, then shouldn't the quality of carbon not matter?

many key factors in the process and no its not resin used .. when Ap produce there FC parts ..specially selected CF and binder !! and a precious process to complete the parts!! its not like baking a cake !! if it was..id like chocolate on top of mine please !!:

Ok guys, had some words with a dealer as well, this is correct there is a cf one coming . The one in the pics is a sample piece. The FC does not look too good from up close though. My dealer told it's harder than gio's case but imo gio's looks better. Price tag is around $500 which is a great price.

Release date can be soon but I advised to get the CF a bit better. If they are already this far it can't be far to get it with a correct structure.

By "are fail" he means that they haven't done a good job.
Yes this model does have a carbon case, but it doesn't look right.

I don't understand. There's a carbon fiber diver coming out? I thought there was only the forged carbon diver (yellow) and a ceramic diver (orange).

Is that what you meant? Ceramic?
