There is no but. You can easily create some stupid explanation like e.g. I'm robin hood of these days, if someone has enough money to buy fake AP from ebay, he must have gazillions of dollars so it's like resistribution of wealth to the needy i.e. the seller.
Both are illegal. One is much worse than the other, I think we all agree on that. And while we are at that - think of the reason why there is even Rolex clone movement… in closed caseback watches… to scam my friend, to scam. Not for replacement parts or whatnot.
It's good that overall rep boards are nice and fun place, full of watch enthusiasts, nevertheless, there is a darkside to this all.
People at watch industry get less money, have less business, and there is less healthy competition in the free market due to so salled rep market. From ethical point of view, there is no lesser evil here, both are wrong. You think that one is more evil than the other, because you steal from guy that owns yachts, or some hedge fund that owns companies, and it's not on personal level. But please believe me, both from ethical/legal point of view are wrong, and psychologically you're just trying to justify your actions. And it's easy, because it is remote. Nobody here steals anything directly. But it is still wrong. Its like discussing: "Well, scamming on ebay is better than mugging old ladies, I need some money, so scamming is so much better, I scam a guy that does not want to support authorized dealers etc. its basically his fault". And it is true - ebay is cheaper, because there is a risk.…cut...

You must have been brilliant in your highschool debate team. Did you answer with "Karma" or some other "Tomato is a fruit" out of nowhere too? You are constantly missing points and this has proven to be futile discussion. Cheers.Till you're a victim of a scam yourself you'll probably keep making excuses for those who scam on ebay. Some might get away with it but Karma definitely doesn't forget faces. You're obviously going to deep for no reason. No need going back and forth no more, good luck to you and what you think is ethical/legal haha ..... That's all I have to say
What if we all bid to win and then refused to pay because it's fake!?!?!
people will never stop doing these kind of scams
n btw the second link is a gen mate..at least the pic is of a gen watch...
... And with only one pic listed...Eerm , thought the DW on the Panda looked a bit dodgy and besides it's only one not so clear pic to judge from, could have been copied from the internet which could be a tell :hehehe: . Besides don't think anyone will sell a Gen worth '10,000 and up' on Ebay at that starting price without a reserve price ??
