What do you guys think ? I might be wrong but seems like this person is trying his luck to see how far the bid goes .... He never mentioned anything about it being authentic/a replacement watch (rep) , no box, no papers and can see a sneak peak of the movement , looks like a 7750 movement to me, which he seems to be hiding :hehehe: We all know it's a good rep but I'm sure not good enough to fool members on RWI, the "WATCH POLICE" loool....

Yes it is, but how many can they stop and investigate, especially when excited keyboard gangsters raise false alarm on items that are actually authentic without actually making sure first ....... So most of the time they take action, when there are multiple complaints or after the buyer realizes and also freeze the account .. But then again I always wonder how non so smart these people are who spend over 1000 on ebay without actually making sure and confirm what they are purchasing is the real deal icard:

Yes BUT that's for personal use not to sell in pretence that's it's authentic to an innocent (and to be honest 'naive') individual , that's fraud...... Same way when people are caught with small quantities of certain drugs or cigarette in their luggage compared to when it's in large quantities meaning for sale .... The 'intention' that's the difference

Now if the person was selling it on RWI to other members, that's understandable because we are all aware of what we are getting .... A decent watch, at a fraction of the price than the authentic with flaws we are prepared to live with....

There is no but. You can easily create some stupid explanation like e.g. I'm robin hood of these days, if someone has enough money to buy fake AP from ebay, he must have gazillions of dollars so it's like resistribution of wealth to the needy i.e. the seller.

Both are illegal. One is much worse than the other, I think we all agree on that. And while we are at that - think of the reason why there is even Rolex clone movement… in closed caseback watches… to scam my friend, to scam. Not for replacement parts or whatnot.

It's good that overall rep boards are nice and fun place, full of watch enthusiasts, nevertheless, there is a darkside to this all.
