AP Broken crown screw help

I’m after some advise please, recently received an AP offshore which is perfect in size and style for me.
The issue I have is the crown crew has sheered off within the watch and completely comes out, I’m unable to adjust the time, but watch still runs.
It came like this out the box, dealer not interested in helping.
I’m based in the UK if anyone know any watch repairers that work on reps? Or what parts I need?

You need a new winding stem for the specific movement that is in your watch.

A watchmaker needs to dismantle your movement partially, to retrieve the tip
of the broken stem that will probably still be inside your watch, and put the new stem in.

I can’t praise @ado123 work enough. He is a English gentleman and a highly skilled watchmaker. He fixed watches other reputable watch smiths on this forum won’t touch.

If I can’t fix something, I send the watch to him. But your problem is quite easy to fix. AP diver come 95% of the time with an ETA clone (2824) and very rarely with a miyota. You just need a new stem (3-4£) and 15min of a watch smith time

That stem youre talking about for 3-4 GBP, istv that e rep stem or a gen one? and where can you buy such one, ebay?

An ETA or Asian 2824 stem does equally well, and are both cheap.

Search for "ETA 2824 stem" for example on eBay.
