I have ordered a noob version to build a hybrid and to do a detailed measurement. What I can see also in these pics and on all noob pics is that the diameter of the metal around the hands which which attached to the hour and min hand are bigger then the J12, so J12 is closer to gen

I have to disagree on that guru. The hands' central diameter on 2014 Noob and J12 are the same. On the regular ROOs however, J12 makes the centre of the big chrono hand to be bigger. That's why we have the illusion of J12 hands appear to have smaller diameter. There has already been a discussion on that. The movements are the same, so the hands' central diameter can't be smaller.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing your hybrid. Wish I had the dough to get another one from J12 . For now, I'll settle with looking for J12 movement.

I know the the hands central diameter cannot be smaller[emoji6], I am talking about the outside diameter. I will measure both when the watch is here.
Just a comparison about noob hands on Panda and j12 hands on Navy, J12 is for sure smaller

Hour and minutes hands still look the same to me. More so on the 2014 AP. I'd say no differences.

lol this debate will never end. Let's just limit this only to 2014 AP Safari between Noob and J12. J12 2014 Safari hands are already wrong since the color is greyish, not brown.

my seller in my country only have the ETA 15400 ( I think this is noob version), and the one with miyota but no engraving "audemars piguet" at the back of movement.

I want the miyota with the engraving movement but the seller doesnt have. so i only have a choice between the ETA OR miyota with no engraving movement.

what do u recommend me? which one the dial and case is more accurate? thanks a lot

Does it have lume jw?

Yes but it'll only light up when you intentionally torch it with a bright light. Otherwise, it won't light up under normal lighting.

I do have a question, I did end up buying the Gen OEM strap, did you have any problems fitting it into the this Noob end-links? Just curious since I have the strap but don't have the watch as of yet. The OEM strap fit effortlessly. No hassle at all. So you should be just fine.

I think it's real. On this Safari, you can see that the 2 screws are obviously faux. The one on the decorated movt looks miles better.
