AP 15400 v4 - Silence the rotor - what needs to be done?

There is a local watchmaker that has worked on my gen Omega Seamaster GMT. I was going to bring my AP 15400 v4 to him to have the rotor silenced as that is the only thing I don't like about my rep. Should he know what to do? Seen a few posts on here saying they had it done for $20.

I posted this a little early. After brushing up on some search skills I found some answers. It does look like a bit of an undertaking. Not something I would do for sure. I'll see what my local watchmaker has to say. Sure they have all the right tools at least.
