May I know how did you manage to get the items from AD? No need to own the gen watch to order parts from them?

I was looking for gen dial for almost a year. They are rare and cost starts at 5k. I mean second gen post 2012 dials which are only in blue. Hands are even more difficult to find and also costly....

The easy tell for the "real" CNC case vs mod ZF are:

- size of bezel screws / ZF screws are too big - I measured the custom screws and they are exactly mathcing with the AP drawing (which can be found on the web)
- different size / angles of bevels
- completely different type of gasket sealings and mid case construction

Btw one other "easy" tell between gen and ZF is that gen AP uses special shape of movement tabs to hold the K2121 in the movement ring which sits inside that big gasket. Still learning Fpund the gen spec tabs and recently upgraded my watch with them

Estuve buscando un dial de segunda generación durante casi un año. Son raros y cuestan a partir de 5000 dólares. Me refiero a diales de segunda generación posteriores a 2012, que solo están en azul. Las manecillas son aún más difíciles de encontrar y también caras...

Los indicios más claros de un caso CNC "real" frente a un ZF modificado son:

- El tamaño de los tornillos del bisel/tornillos ZF son demasiado grandes - Medí los tornillos personalizados y coinciden exactamente con el dibujo AP (que se puede encontrar en la web)
- diferentes tamaños / ángulos de biseles
- un tipo de sellado de juntas completamente diferente y una construcción de caja intermedia

Por cierto, otra diferencia fácil entre Gen y ZF es que Gen AP usa lengüetas de movimiento con una forma especial para sujetar el K2121 en el anillo de movimiento, que se encuentra dentro de esa gran junta. Todavía estoy aprendiendo a encontrar las lengüetas de especificaciones de Gen y recientemente actualicé mi reloj con ellas.

Para ello, necesito una caja compatible con un movimiento K2121, y vi que mencionaste una modificación ZF. ¿No puedo simplemente comprar una réplica ZF v2, por ejemplo, e instalarla en la caja usando la esfera y las manecillas ZF del movimiento original? Simplemente necesito la combinación más económica que funcione con el movimiento original. Y si eso no es posible con una réplica ZF estándar, ¿dónde puedo conseguir la caja CNC o la modificación ZF? Porque he buscado mucho y no encuentro nada fiable. Gracias.

I want to build a Franken with a real movement and a replica case. To do this, I need a case compatible with a K2121 movement, and I saw you mentioned a ZF mod. Can't I simply buy a ZF v2 replica, for example, and install it in the case using the ZF dial and hands on the original movement? I simply need the cheapest combination that works with the original movement. And if that's not possible with a standard ZF replica, where can I get the CNC or ZF mod case? Because I've searched extensively and can't find anything reliable.

Not a plug and play. You're gonna need a modder to customize case to fit. And M9015 hand don't fit K2121 movement. So need custom hands.
