Yes there is but not like the sunburst for the 15400/15500 dials, due to the difference in tapisserie construction.

XF 15202 V2 also has sunburst present? Kinda hard to see from photos. I know there is no sunburst for the ZF.

Looks good. How long have you been using this? Any problem with it? I'm eyeing on this as Steve said the XF can still be sourced.Hope this helps

The 15202IP dial (gen or rep) is different from the 15202st one. It may be a good depiction of what the @nicholaskk is asking about.

I’m also a big fun of the XF 15202 over the ZF 15202 because I had the luck to hold in my hands the gen 15202… the oddity is that the overall “quality feeling” I had on my fingertips from the gen 15202 is not that good as I expect.
Because of this, on my opinion, the XF is more gen like than the ZF.
In other words, I’m totally agree that the ZF 15202 is better than the XF but it is also too much better than the gen 15202!!
I’d like to add one more thing, speaking about the genuine new generation Royal Oaks (15500 or 15400) the “quality feeling “ has been improved from Audemars Piguet, because of this the ZF watches are really “gen like”!

On my personal opinion the quality standard on the gen 15202 is lower than the 15202 ZF rep, I’m speaking about, smoothness of finishing, tolerances on the production of the single parts, precision assembling the parts and all the things that gives you a high quality sensation under your fingertips.
This matter has changed on the new generation Royal Oaks, the gen 15500 is an excellent watch, it gives you really the luxury feeling who is totally missing in the gen 15202!
It is almost the same difference you can feel from a XF 15202 and the ZF 15500.

I havent touched 15500 yet, ZF makes the best for these model? Sorry ive been out of touch with AP since 15400.
I had a 15500 by ZF as well as 15202 ZF but I only decided to stay with a XF 15202.
About your question I could read in the forum a lot of good feedbacks about ZF and APSF 15500, but actually I don’t remember about all the details on the dial embossing, dial color, date font etc… too many details on the the rep game!

Hi I just bought an ap and the quality seems good but I have a miyota movement and I can hear it in my ear, could I put a better movement in my watch or should I just get another watch with a better movement?
Are we sticking with the XF 15202 feeling better quality then the genI had a 15500 by ZF as well as 15202 ZF but I only decided to stay with a XF 15202.
