unfortunately i am doing a franken 16233 project at the moment and have to save my funds for said project
nevertheless i was, and from time to time still am, looking for a 14790 white dial with lond indices. the same one major got for his 14790.
that's my wet dream... a good franken 14790... I will buy it in a heart breath....
Cannot find any 14790 BP on any TD as a base for the project... right?
Sourcing a good quality rep for a 14790 is quite hard as the model is fairly old and the TD usually sell the newer royal oak models. Shoot me a PM, i might sell my 14790 rep I bought a few month ago in this forum because I shifted my interest towards a more "do-able" franken project. nevertheless the 14790 with a white dial is still one of my all time favorites.

I'd kill for a build like this with that patina'd $75 dial, even if it's missing the "automatic"

Ok, I bought the 14790 from 160million so I will be following this thread closely and seeking for gen dials and gen DW over C24 and eBay.
Obviously I will keep you all posted about it
Any help will be welcome !
Some gen dials were recently posted, but they are all exorbitantly overpriced right now. I got all of my dials for <$1K for reference. If I find any that are reasonable I'll be sure to let you know. 14790 club unite!

I've installed the gen quartz dial with a random find of a quartz date disc! Turned out great!
^^ I wasn't pleased with the lume color so I just did a quick vintage paint job. I'll have to come back to it to do a better and proper vintage lume project.
The thickness of the date disc was not cooperating with the dial, so long story short it's now a manual wind watch.
