I've never told anyone this before, but I used to be the lead guitarist in a band called ZZ Taint, and my name is Billy Taint.

The bass player in my band was Dusty Taint, and the drummer was Taint Beard, who ironically was the only band member that didn't wear a beard. We had a massive hit album in 1983 called Elimitaintor.

Until I started buying 1:1 Swiss reps from Ben and Nick, I was just another wannabe blues guitarist, just another faint taint.

P.S. Ben and Nick sell some excellent rep ice cream. You really should try the Cherry Garfield flavor.

Ok you derailing bunch.

Banned one, put two others on my shitwatchlist.

Hey, everyone feel free to purchase from all the sites with the genlike pictures. Don't come whining though and it is your money that you put at stake.

The rest is sensible and sticks with our trusted dealers.

Mate, why did you ban someone? Watcharoo is fine and that's the honest truth. I've dealt with them plenty. Just because they're not on the list of TDs doesn't mean they're scammers. And if you banned someone for saying they're OK or asking about them, then that's just not fair to that person. Of course I get why you say to stick with the TDs and that's a great call but… in this case, they're legit. Anyhow, whatever! I have to go hit the "place order" button on one of Angus' Noob Breitling SOA44s. And then maybe do some work. Maybe.

Go read the posts of the one that got banned. He was pimping your favorite site like he is a part owner.

Listen , many folks here have been around a lot longer than you, and even I. There's a reason TD's go through a process to be allowed in here. If there's an issue, the staff will not leave out to dry. You will get help and problems resolved. Who's going to help you when Wi Tu Lo screws you out of a watch ? No one. You're not the first, and surely not the last.

I totally understand all that and that great. But Mojof1's question was whether anyone had ever had experience with this site. My answer was yes and they're all good. I had a Seamaster PO arrive which I wasn't happy with, I sent it back to them, they fixed it and sent it back to me. So, yes, they also back up their sales too. The whole idea of forums is to share your experiences and recommendations to help others. I'm sharing my experience (which was asked for) and you're sharing your recommendation. Just because I haven't been around here for as long as you and others shouldn't mean that I'm the goose when I'm just trying to help a brother out by recommending something I've actually had experience with. That said, I agree that as a rule of thumb, stick with TDs. Even that really popular one I sent a faulty PAM back to and got it back 2.5 months later to have the stem break again on the first day back and then he told me to fix it myself.

Look, Norrie, we don't know you and you have to appreciate that we are not inclined to jump on your bandwagon. There is a process for vetting dealers. That site has not passed muster. So as far as we are concerned, it is off limits. Especially when two shills drop in as they did. How do we know you're not a shill, too?

Nothing personal. Maybe just let it go now?

I was about to checkout to purchase a TAG Grand Carrera 17, until it asked me to go to its sister site to complete the checkout due to "technical problems" with their site. So I go to the sister site, myfashionwatch.net, where I'm supposed to search for the product code ( TAG0080). The product shows up, but it does not provide any pictures or details of the product. The name and price is the same, but nothing else. Is this extremely suspicious, or has anyone had success ordering from here before? thanks.

This thread mentions non-trusted dealers. If you buy there, good luck - it is your money, not mine.

We have a trusted dealer section for a reason.

I have bought 4 watches from Nick at watcharoo!! He is amazing!,, make sure you get the Swiss model... We'll worth it. I still have my Rolex from 4 years ago. Talk to Nick on line tell him Joey from NY says hi. We even chat just for the hell of it. I'm on the testimonials.... Trust Nick!

First post, Joey? Or is it Nick? Fantastic. Seriously?

Was it easy to find this old thread, what with the server issue and all?

Actually, please don't answer. I don't want to now.
