Anyone know where I can find a milsub insert like this pic with the flaring trangle on the "4" in 40?

I want to build a milsub and would like an accurate looking insert.
The ones I see available (Ruby) don't seem to have the larger flare on the "4" in the number 40- see pics
Does anyone sell this style?
If so, please post the link so I may buy one, or two.

He doesn't have it either, not with the proper flare of the 4

Surprised that the CAC inserts don’t fit the bill, his are the best out there…

Which is the part of the “4” you’re referring to? One of those images looks to be a “flat 4” which is not the same insert as a Milsub.

That pic is of a known genuine milsub
Are there any other sub inserts that have the marks at every minute other than milsub? If so, please post a pic of one.
I'm new to this, maybe there is another insert I can find that looks correct.

The milsub insert was the only type to have the hash marks all around.

One of the defining features on these inserts was the incomplete 0 in the 30 marker (missing corner of the 0):

The 4 has serifs as below, but not an wide flat top as the "4" image you've posted above.

Genuine 5517 milsubs for comparison. You should see the details as shown above.

You won't fine a better or more accurate insert than CAC without getting a genuine 5517 insert.
