I have the KW 416 on my wrist currently. I can't make out the seats clearly to make such a determination with my naked eye. On someone else's wrist, this watch is impossible to call out. That is my point. Without very close inspection, you cannot tell it is a rep. And to me, that makes it as good as GEN.

I don't know how many times you pull off a watch to give to an expert to look over in your daily travels.

No i don't have one but i do have a gen 416 and a rep 416 from Sead as comparison.

Are you sure that the rep from Sead is a regular KW production or it is from special Sead offer?

Anyway, of course, there are differences between gen p¡g and KW pig. As you can see in Klockis-ALE review.

Of course KW is not perfect but it is very close to gen deep embossed, sharp and well defined.

But we are just saying that those differences are almost no noticeable under naked eye and less not knowing previously the flaws or wearing it in your wrist.
You seemingly know perfectly the flaws, therefore for you is much easier to find them, even without loupe. Just that

I got mine from KW directly last year and had it AR'd by a German watch maker. Dial really pops up nicely, and it's one of my favorite watches today. Mounted on a Simona.

I did not consider the comparison-shot to be a rude request at all. Just an interesting one, as I've did the the comparo IRL and had a VERY hard time distinguishing the two side-by-side. With the naked eye - not a chance....
