I've got an upcoming first time ever trip to New York City, my wife is taking me for my 50th birthday. I've been looking for a nice watch to sort of commemorate the trip and came accross the Pam 417, in looking around it seems as though the KW version is much better than the H factory or other versions. Does anyone have any real experience with this model...

In the PAM guide, ALE has some links to some in hand reviews I believe. I do not have one (I'm definitely wanting one down the line though) but I've read nothing but positive reviews and feedback on the KW version.

There were/are some fakes circulating. Generally, if you contact a TD or Kurvarsit directly and they say they are sourcing the KW417 you can be pretty sure it is the KW version.

Thanks for you work ALE!! Once again!! Yes the KW 417 seems to be out of stock I've e-mailed Kuvarsit to see if they will be back in stock any time soon...worth waiting for I think!

It's interesting to learn that the KW417 may be in limited stock right now. I'm glad I got mine last summer. ALE's review says everything you need to know about it and I'm thoroughly enjoying mine. I have pictures in my sig of when I got it new. The leather band has since darkened from use and it has a nice character to it now.
It's a super rep but the pig logo will give it away as a rep

Under naked eye it is impossible to see the differences
With a loupe you would need to know the differences to realize them
KW pig is much better than H maker one

What an utterly preposterous claim - clear indication that you prolly never seen a KW417 in the flesh. Lol....
No i don't have one but i do have a gen 416 and a rep 416 from Sead as comparison.

I ordered one for a friend from Tony about a month ago (it still hasn't arrived) so it should be in stock. I hope he didn't sent me H-fac version. We'll see soon.
What the fck is this, it is all in the PAM section, look at the sharp back seat vs the rep. You can say you need a loupe for it but it's damn obvious if you look at it with your naked eye.I aint here to argue with you and this aint a e-penis contest,"oh why don't you show your gen vs rep comparison pic". Grow up kid.
To each their own, if you like your rep that much stick with it. I like my rep too and i'm just pointing one obvious difference you can notice without a loupe.
