Anyone bought a KW 351 lately? Wondering if it still suffers from the dull titanium bezel or if they're mirror polished like the stainless bezel is now.

Good question: i would gladly repurchase the watch if they put SS bezel instead of that dull titanium one...

I had one from the "first" batch, I couldn't stand this bezel too. A few weeks ago, I ordered the last version once again, and the bezel is the same...

So, I just bought a gen bezel to fit on it ;)

Thanks Evora. Is it easy enough to replace the bezel? I was thinking of asking for a spare stainless one from KW and switching it out.

You just have to "pop" off the bezel here :

I used a watch press to fit the new one, but I think that I could fit without a press, just easier.

Thanks for that photo and reply. Just looking at my KW 359 which is a 1950 case too and it doesn't seem to have that groove you've circled.

Sorry, you're right, only on Luminor Bettarini cases. On the 1950 cases (also 47mm, I think), the bezel is screwed, but need to be confirmed.

- PAM351 from KW has still the same bezel.
- Only PAM Luminor Bettarini cases seem to have this groove bezel (usually @ 10), not the same ref on 1950 cases.
- I bought a gen bezel to fit on my PAM351, but it's not the same model/fittment.

So, the gen bezel is not on my PAM351 which still has its "poor" bezel".

My bad.

Oh, so the crystal is in the bezel. That changes things. Thanks!

The bezel of the 351 is separate from the glass and is pressure mounted. The 44mm1950 cases with domed sapphire (like the 212) have the bezel integrated with the glass..
Not a problem with the 351...

I thought these are currently sold out. Maybe not. I got word to the maker via a dealer about the dull bezel. It's a good seller just behind the 359 apparently so I'd imagine another batch should be made. Hopefully with a SS bezel.

Hi Guys,

Just bought a 351 KW. Really lovely, except it stopped working after 3 days I received it.
Got it from a trusted seller, whom gave me excellent customer service.
Seller told me to take it to a watch smith and see, then let them know how much it will be to repair it.

I am not sure this is a repair. I think it is a defect. Replicas are no longer what they used to be and by that I mean that while their accuracy has gone up a lot their longevity and the quality of the materials used has gone down.
My 1st replica was a PAM196 with the 6670 movt. That watch was a beast, it took hits, it fell you name it it was always great, then I had 2 Radiomir and they both failed, they were fragile as if the internal movt was made of aluminium, now this guy it felt the same from the moment I held it.
Beautiful, gorgeous watch with the ASSO strap. But 3 days....I mean 3 days??...and boom. Stops working? IT gets charged but then the little thing stops turning (don't know the exact term in english).
I am so disappointed and while some of us would say "hey it's a replica" I don't expect it not to work.

And if I do take it somewhere who knows if they can actually do anything or charge me for nothing and then the watch is still not working cause the parts are not compatible or whatever.

anyone with a similar experience? Feedback would be helpful.

Sorry for the rant but I am a bit discouraged, I waited a long time for this watch.

Thanks!

What about sending it back to the TD.surly that is why they have earned the catagory TD there must be some warranty.
Then again it could be a quick fix at the hopefully good watch smith.I think with all the reps they all need a service sooner or later, try to find someone on the forum to look at it.Good luck

I've had that a few times and my TD tells me to send it back and have the maker fix it. Is the rotor spinning?

First one seems to be 7750 version as it has balance wheel at 11 o'clock. Second link doesn't work but if it has balance wheel at 6 o'clock then it's ST2555. Read more about it around PAM section, there is a lot of discussions about that. ;) Hope this helps!

The wheel does spin but then it stops.
as if it doesn't charge it. The watch smith said it maybe the spring. Not good. The TD said to tell the smith to be careful . Somehow I do not have too much hope and I already feel I have lost around $400. I guess it comes with the territory.
