Yes, what you should glean from the responses, whether they be sarcastic or not, is.... probably not wise to buy from some rando on YT.
Wasn't buying. I was simply asking if anybody has purchased from him maybe if people looked they ask what I’m asking, who is he? and who are all these reviews people are leaving on YouTube?
Have you ever heard of social media marketing? in a cheap way, it's about $50 for 500 comments, can go cheaper if you don't mind worse quality. IG can be cheaper too.
I appreciate it very very much. I was inquiring about how the vetting process works. I know RWI works very hard to make this a safe haven for members and as well provides a wonderful group of people that keep the scurrilous douches that that try to defraud from busting down the barricades. It is a very pat answer to ridicule or treat members as if they're fools for asking about how RWI goes about deciding, vetting, checking and bringing TD's into the fold. And it isn't necessary.
The question is not why I posted it. My question to you is what you've done during you're time here. There's more to RWI than coming in and asking "who makes the best sub". There are so many resources here for all. All things that we should educate ourselves from. I suggest you take some time and read up on these issues. You'll be shocked at what you'll find.
@Cainey8912 the answer to your question I believe is no. No one bought from Mr Long here. No one knows his offer nor his background (and YT, IG or other media means sh*t in the rep game), but as said above, feel free to give it a try. It may end well as it may end bad.

Whever you want it or not, creating a thread about this or that dealer is advertising for someone no one knows nothing about, with all the risks involved it always raises a "no go" from other members.
RWI has a long time process to deliver, and maintain, a TD status to a dealer. It's based on different facts regarding their honesty and quality of services in a long term.
As you can imagine regarding the nature of the rep game, and the many bad experiences reported through the years, the TD concept is strongly implanted in the forum's basics for our own sake, and we have trust in that.

I wasn't saying I’m going to part with my money ,earlier on I was on YouTube and seen dealers almost been duped by Supers. I started looking at CF on YouTube and this same guy kept popping us, this is why I was asking not if he’s a TD because I if he was on there I wouldent of asked. I simply asked if anybody had came across him he’s selling a Daytona for $3300

8. We buy a lot from non-TD. Helenarou, Athaya, Raffles, AliX sellers, DHGate...the list is long. So there is no specific biais for TDs. Just that for OOTB watches, there is nothing safer or better. If there is, spend your own money and please share the experience.
9. @Blackieray Syphylis to the Church...If he comes in with a detailed review (good or bad) of a non TD purchase he made with his money, then he are contributing. What OP did just looks like an ad. See bullet 1

I'm new here, strangely enough because someone I know in real life has made a few purchases from him.
They purchased a clean factory GMT II batman, and two Daytonas.
Their experience didn't seem too far off from the standard process you see here. Contact about availability (via WhatsApp) and made their purchases and received what they ordered.
Their order went smoothly and they got what they ordered.
My hangups and the reason I went with Intime was because I couldn't find much information anywhere about them, I thought their prices were higher for the same goods, and I didn't like that he basically upsold on getting additional work done that probably wasn't necessary.
That said, use at your own risk.

But you are right, "at your own risk". People here mostly buy with TDs do have a reason: if things go tits up, they know what to do. So give me a sound reason why would I buy with someone with no reputation at all, but only rely on your friend's so-called "experience"?

I think is it not an overstatement to say 99.9% of people who come here and open an account are looking for a better and safer way to buy a rep and get into the game. Since you and your friend already got your way and successfully bought some reps, what's the point for you to come here, not reading anything, but just sharing your "experience"? Don't get me wrong, new member of course welcome to share their experience. But in his first post to praise some unknown dealer not authorized to sell here? Yes, you are suspicious. Actually, my first post on this site was in a thread about I time. Someone asked what to expect when ordering a watch that wasn't in stock and I responded with my personal response from Ryan.
You're weird. Is there a way to block people on this site. You're really not offering anything of value.
I think my 300+ posts do offer a little bit more value than a guy only opening an account here to talk about buying from someone he doesn't want to go with.

Why on Earth are you posting " your friends" QC? Seems very strange to me. Maybe I'm just sarcastic or paranoid or jaded from all I've seen. Perhaps you'd like to post your QC pictures from your intime purchase for comparison? That would go a long way towards resolving what a lot of those here would be suspecting which is this is a sock account.
