I have owned many reps and gens. In my opinion bottom line is buy and do what makes you happy. I decided to buy a gen 233 cuz of the complications and functions of the watch. Plus the reps of that watch is really poor. I also got a gen 88 and love both watches. I wear my reps on a daily beater status while I wear my gens on weekends and night outs.

Thank you my friend! Best thing in my opinion to a fiddy. I love the domed glass one of the top reasons on buying the 233 with the 1950 case.
