I will kick off with a project I am trying to do (I posted it on RG already)
Mine at the moment is the Albino Artisan De Genève and now Ember Concept.
For a start, I'm not going to turn the watch into manual wind like Artisan De Genève. But I would very much like to replicate their aesthetic.
So far I think everything is doable except maybe the pushers.
1) shave off the crown guard and thin out the case a bit, vintage Daytona case are not as rounded or chubby as the modern Daytona
2) brush finish the top of the case (side is polished).
3) brush finish the center links on the bracelet - not sure if you can do the clasp as there's a Rolex coronet on it
4) I can source the bezel and plexi (plexi might need to be custom made)*
5) this might be a bit tricky, but the only dial I can find which aren't painted is via ebay, but their subdials don't have rings, so I will get dad to get it make if for me in Vietnam
6) trim/thin out the 3 subdial hands and paint the chrono hands (4 of them) in blue? The main hour and minute hands needs to be source as they are vintage style with flat ends.
7)the pushers, as you can see, they are the vintage MK1 style where they are more flushed looking, I am not sure you can modify the existing pushers as it seems like they are shaven/flatten on the top of each groove.*
8) replace the crown with a smaller vintage crown
Anything else I have left out?
