Answers and Story- Modded Seamaster Chrono Guessing Game!

Ok, so I finally finished my SMP chrono....the entire thing started over a year ago when I bought a broken SMP chrono off a board member. Between then and now have been many setbacks, waiting, and plain just not having any free time to finish.

Three are 3 changes from your standard SMP chrono on this watch....have fun guessing and more picture clues may follow. Enjoy the pics too

The datefont looks correct You've got yourself an awesome replica. Pearl too... looks great. "seamaster" on dial not "seanaster".

You guys are piecing it together here and there. There is one change I think may be impossible to get but cybee was on to something with his comment! To take one choice away, it is not AR coated......

It's not a gen dial...

1 Glued on genuine bezel insert (easy guess)
2 Added Genuine chrono pushers and crown
3 Modded crown guards to get the crown to stick out further

If you changed the movement you would have shown pictures of the movement. If you relumed you would have shown lume shots.

Thanks to everyone for your guesses and compliments. You guys are really observant! Nobody has hit any specific answers yet, but boy you are all barking up the right trees. I am looking for specifics here! I can tell you the dial is not genuine.

One answer is very difficult if not impossible to see but cybee gave a clue. This info might help those that are sherlock holmes like......when I bought the watch, it also came with a broken asian seamaster gmt. :idea:

I'll post another helpful pic with a minigame (more RWI$) when I get home this afternoon/evening. Those with low post counts pay attention....the game will be for you!

I don't qualify for the posts, but upgrade to swiss! Nice. I've got a source to get you new gen bands for around $350 (AD wants almost $700... :evil: ), if you really want to make that watch flawless.
