I'd also have to believe that if it is a defect, which I doubt, then all the other dials are going to be the same way. They're all going to be stamped from the same die.

Oh dear, I'll take the link off if you want. I havea couple of quartz real APs bought in the 1980s. But that was before they went back to clockwork and elevated their market! They've never been serviced and I change the batteries myself...

Indeed, but as you said, there's more than a grain of truth in what he said. I was on hols a few years ago and wearing a fairly low priced watch, a couple of hundred pounds. The battery ran out. I went to the town's best jeweller to get it changed. Standard screw back with notches. Easily changed, and it used a common sized battery. But they took one look at it and said that they didn't handle battery changes for that brand! I had to find another jeweller to get it changed...

Thanks, I'm actually very interested in opinions on the subjet as to that day, it remains a mistery to me.

I actually figured that out, when I say it might be a matter of language it's because I'm not a native English speaker.

But I found what he does to be quite poorly made. This is nothing more than my opinion of course, but when I hear him all that ends up in my hears are big strings he is pulling. It could be funny if he was mixing posh language with a bit of rudeness, but here I found it to lack subtility, or maybe good writting, I'm not sure.

To me he just sounds like another internet troll, except this one found a way to capture audio on his computer.

Yes, I agree, what Archie plays is only a single string out of the six, over and over again. In the above video, it is this single string: AP are rude to their customers.
Archie never goes beyond that, really.
His opinions about luxury watches are very conventional and conservative as well.

I'm not bashing the TD I like the TD. I am on a factory rant. And I looked at the QC and had not noticed it until it shipped due to photo quality and it's not being the usual watch on here. But I'll post info and pics when it comes in.



Now.......Archie Luxury. The modern Robin Leach for the wrist with a splash of scrappy. His direction is a but over the top pompous for my taste, I like listening because as someone mentioned inside all of it....some truths come out. So if you are inclined to like watches a little, it's okay. Maybe someone can start a better watch channel on YouTube.

After he got here and started begging for freebies, Archie turned out to be a low class wanker that was actually begging for free stuff as well as trying to push up views on his Internet channel looking for advertisers. He really ended up being a rather pitiful chap. As I recall at one time he was trying to sell a couple of used lawnmowers that he had repaired because he was so broke.
