Champsclary Its lovely watch. The sunken datewheel is the most obvious tell but this is to enable fully functioning subdials. The bezel numbers are ever so slightly misaligned when lining up the red 60 at the 12 oclock position. I have owned one for 3 years, wearing it daily and it is still going strong.
from that perspective the sunken date does really look weird. There are some mods to get it right, but I guess that is not easy to do.
