There are many panerai watches I would like to buy, but the top-notch speaks of an alternative to 111, and I believe that an alternative to a piece like 111 is not there, there may be watches that you like more or less, but 111 in its simplicity it's unique. I bought and sold at least 7/8 of 111 and every time I split up and as if I was missing something, in fact I'm waiting for gen to arrive.

How about a 112? Even more simple than the 111, I would take the base dials over the marina’s Every time tbh. There are quite a few like the 111 in actuality. I have most of them when I get home tomorrow I’ll post some pics.....

Quick update from me. PAM 111 Noob v4 arrive last week and I'm delighted with it. Glad I waited for the watch to come back in rather than going for the VSF 312 instead.

Size is perfect for me with a fairly small wrist (6.75) - it's got the bold Panerai look without looking silly.

Black rubber strap is pretty good. Also got an extra asso strap but not tried it on that yet.

Why don't you like the 312? I am debating between the 2 right now since they appear to be the only 2 super reps on the market right now. I like that the 312 is automatic. I have a big wrist, so I dont know if I am as concerned about the size.
