Here is some advice coming from a member that registered 2 years earlier than you. People here are very helpful, really they are (and I did answer your first two questions to the best of my ability). However, after the third, ALE must have felt that if this were answered, you would go into the 4th and then the 5th question and so on, so he had to step in and suggest that if you do not have the time to research the information yourself, then probably this hobby is not for you. This does not cover just reps, any hobby worth taking up needs a bit of investment in time not only money. Asking people right and left will not leave an impression that you are serious about this hobby, merely about getting answers for yourself in your own time. Maybe it's because English isn't ALE's first language, as it may not be yours either, that this discussion on the PAM438 became a discussion on yourself.
A community is naturally protective of their own, and when you replied in a not-so nice manner (which you might have thought it was justified but clearly not) and not to a mere member of the community but a valued member and a leader (moderator) at that, then it is a natural conclusion that other members of the community would react in response. You check other forums and you will find out that fighting/arguing/making negative statements against staff can merit you a suspension or even banning from the forum.
This may not reach you as you have decided to leave the forum, but at least may this be a suggestion to those who would like everything handed to them in this "hobby". You go into this, be prepared to spend some time on good old research. There might be instances when time is of the essence (God knows I've done it quite a few times to get opinions) but at least inform people of why you need the info ASAP, people would respond to that urgency. Just not do it all the time. My two cents.
