I won't speak for him but this commonly comes up especially with fake basketball shoes which are quite dangerous - they're meant to look the part and be reasonably comfortable but it's of little consequence to the rep maker's bottom line whether or not they perform optimally. They might do whatever they can to replicate the shape but since they are only going for the shape, Internal structure can fall off the radar. Basketball's a pretty extreme example of a sport relying on shoe stability though.what makes you think so ?
