Double blind tests (countless of) find no discernable difference between flac and 320kbps mp3 or VBR. Miniscule even at 192kbps. Spotify premium uses 320. All grados use the same drivers so I'd be keen on high end model fakes and swapping sr60 drivers into them.

Hmmm that's interesting. I'm no audiophile but I feel like I can hear a discernible difference between a CD and mp3.

If your looking for the B Brand scarf, I'd strongly recommend requesting a sample picture before ordering. I received one with really bad bleeding in the stripes. You can easily tell its a rep. Its sitting in a drawer now, a shame, the quality of the material was really good though....

I'm sorry for you. With the right gear I can spot a good quality flac from an MP3 even half drunk. Depth , sound stage, clarity is miles away.

Of course your Dac is bad then good luck.

A friend of mine actually bought fake grados and tried to swap the drivers. He was not successful and bought the real thing. Sorry can't remember the model. Your mileage may vary.

If anyone is interested, a few pages back I mentioned I got a new set of Vokey SM6 Wedges.
Played 2 rounds with them and they are amazing. Feel so solid, was getting so much control. Honestly the quality is outstanding.
My playing parter has a full set of SM5's, he's asked me to get a set for him, and he'll sell his.

Received a batch of shoes yesterday

A pair of Prada dress shoes. Leather is fantasticly soft on top. Possibly the best shoes I've ever bought.

A pair of Gucci white flat sneakers. Again this is a sheepskin inside&outside kind of shoes. A bit pricey but super comfortable.

A pair of BV mocassins which I only bought cos it was a clearance sale. i'm not too impressed by these, but to be frank, they are spotless

All true to size.
