WTH! You cant even carry a knife? WTH!
You can carry for example if you are an electrician going home from work or if you have your fishing pole with you a knife will be ignored. However, if you are a spotty youth hanging outside a burger bar at 11pm you will have a problem.
The general view here is that this legal situation is acceptable.
Although the way figures are gathered makes it difficult to be spot on accurate for the 12 months to March 2015 we had a total of 26,370 offences mostly for repeated possession of a knife or blade. There were 'more than' 8,000 woundings and 231 charges of attempted murder with a bladed weapon (figures include kitchen utensils and screwdrivers etc.,)
In 2013 - 2014 we had a total of 4,801 firearm offences. However, Deputy Chief Constable Dave Thompson of West Midlands police, who has national oversight of the criminal use of firearms, said the figures painted a misleading picture.
A quarter of the total offences related to air weapons, he said, pointing out that the figures also include incidents in which a firearm may not actually have been used. For example, if a robber held up a shop shouting “I’ve got a gun†then this would be recorded as a gun crime, even if no firearm was present.
There were 29 firearm fatalities in the same period with a total population of 65.1 million
