My Hermes belt was delivered! I'm at work right now.. But will review it when I'm home! Super excited. Since I know there are a lot of members looking forward to the review, I figured I'd break out my DSLR for the review.. So I can get some detailed pics!! Got nervous.

It was held at customs for 5 days, for inspection.. So it's possible I was mailed an empty box.. [emoji23] so we will see..

Okay guys.. The Hermes belt review time!!

This will expand into two separate comments.. I left my MacBook in my lab..

First off shipped the 27th. Okay, cool. Comes with free 5-15 day ems. However on the tracking it said it shipped the 5th. And that was the end of the tracking...

Seller communication was great! Responded to my questions with pics and then asked for my size. 110 cm is the size I ordered.

Package: came great! First package not destroyed. I was presently surprised!

9/10

Now the goods. The package it came in was okay. The corner was beat up a little bit, but I didn't buy it for the box. That'll just get end up being put away! Lol came with a store bag as well. Quality was not bad. The logo is okay, I'll post a gen logo for everyone to see. I'll give this a 8/10.

Now time for the goods. They came with dust covers, receipt, ALL stickers, tags etc.. WTF!? This makes me not want to buy anything anywhere besides an AD...

(last tag was a little off centered.. But what am I going to do with this? I don't need them lol )

No need to review these items. As I won't need them. However the dust covers are pretty good. Logo off again, but stitching is lose on the string. Now onto the actual items!

Review 2/2

Now onto the main goods. the buckles and belt.

The metal work was phenomenal. Pleasantly surprised.. Seriously. Never held a gen, but this feels so solid I wouldn't be able to tell you were to begin.. They have the proper brushed finish on the front. They have the made in France on the back. The words on top though is wrong. It says Hermes and then the symbol as per gen, but then has 18k... Which I don't think gen has. Rated 9/10. Pictures does not do them justice. I can take high res pics if you want! As a matter of fact, I think I will tomorrow, once I have my computer to upload them!

The belt!

Doesn't smell like chemicals! Good sign! But the outside seems "soft" so I'm not sure what it is?? I ordered the 110, however it's stamped 95. Now it fits on the lose setting, so maybe it is 110? Idk I asked the seller. Will update his communication and this when he responds. Also the text you'll see in the pictures is not supposed to be on the belt. However, it's hidden behind the belt itself. Belt width is 38mm. So it's in between 42, and 32.. I'll rate this because of width at 6-7/10. Here's some pics.

Came with this tool? Anyone can help me figure out what it is?? A leather lunch? Idk...

Overall: I'd buy it. For 44 bucks it seems like a good buy. I might buy more colors of the belt!

Edit: Actually, I will.

I'd rate the whole item a 8.5-9/10. The buckles are phenomenal. Seriously. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Yes, that's you guys.

No it's not reversible. I mean, technically you could wear it both ways? Idk.. I will inspect the back end tomorrow, but I don't think it's meant to be like that.

This is the guy that sold me these buckles with Hermes written in the middle.
He had agreed to a full refund and after I sent them back he has drawn this out to a elevated dispute..
I agree these look good just hope you don't need to make a claim.

Looks like a leather punch. If it has a hole on one end with a sharp edge.
If you are going to use it make sure it is VERY sharp, otherwise you will not get a clean cut/edge on the hole.
