The worst part is the fact I only started buying 3 months ago.. I now have about one of every pair of sunglasses, and optical frames ever made it seems. Too many random leather goods, some clothes, and other random things I've forgotten about. I've been selling a couple things that don't work on me in non-watch sales, and the rest are being wrapped up for Christmas haha.

I think the funniest thing about the rep game for me, is the fact I wouldn't be spending this much on gen things right now. Like I wouldn't have bought a bunch of 2-500 dollar watches, any of these Ali things, but I do anyway because it feels like such a deal! How illogical is that? BUT, I don't care, it's too much fun :thumbup:

I agree, but I think it depends a few factors. The heavily monogrammed ones can look tacky, as they seem like they're trying too hard to be ostentatious, but the plain Epi or Taiga leather looks classy, and usually only has a small LV stamp.

The eye catching Damier, or Monogram, in it's element on small leather goods, like a card holder or wallet. Since they're only out for a second when you're paying for something, it doesn't look like you're trying to announce that you've got some designer leather goods.

Then again, to each there own. Do you have a preference for a different brand or style?

This is like saying, why would anyone buy a Rolex - everyone thinks they are fake anyway. So each to their own really. Damn you guys are shopaholics! Still on A3 here and I thought I bought a lot :p

Then I started on house furnishings, blankets, cushions, wind chimes - basic junk!
Then car stuff, window tint, high pressure headlights, led tail lights, interior/dash lights, valve stem covers ..

It's just much easier than trying to order online in Europe with each country having different taxes and import duties...
I think I've saved money, I KNOW I've saved frustration buying locally!

I personally like the design, thats why I buy stuff like that.
If I gave a fck about what other people thought about my card holder for example, I'd have bought a gen.
I am well aware that in most "regular peoples" eyes, all LV items are fake just as all Rolexes are fake. But that doesn't concern me one bit because as I said, I like the design and I buy stuff for myself, because I want them. Not because Im concerned about fooling the cashier at the supermarket or the others standing in line waiting to pay.

Best thread among all of the hundreds forums I'm subscribed to. I'm an A3 so still not a black (hermes) belt but on the right path.
Problem with ae vendors is there absolutely unreliability : same vendor can send you a perfect Tommy Hilfiger shirt once and a 40% polyester badly stitched another time. Let alone the lack of basic English which just adds... Spiciness to your orders lol!

Last funny thing that happened to me: ordered a Kelly for the SO. Received it fantastically wrapped and packed. One small problem: it is locked and I can't get the keys which I can feel are inside the bag. Contact the vendor and he promptly replies it's a safety measure for custom checks. Just break it, the real one is the one inside the bag...

Not easy to break also..

The wife thought I wasted money on a scam.. Until I made it and the logo was finally visible. Happiest wife ever..

After ordering an xxl in the rl polos ive decided the other 6 i bought in xl are to small for me haha
