Do be careful though.
You have passed a fine line here.
Buying reps for yourself is legal, selling is not. Especially if you sell at a profit, the authorities will take a dim view on your activities if they come to light.

Friends and friends of friends.
I actually ordered these watches because a few people asked me for them.
Once you've sold a few things to people they tend to ask for all sorts of things.

If he's selling to friends and other friends of friends, look at it this way: they could certainly go to Ali Express themselves and pay the same amount of money IF they could sift through the shady sellers and crap offerings with poor QC. This guy is taking all the risk with getting crap deliveries and all they have to do is hand over money and receive a worthy item. He's brokering it. That's worth something right there. They save a ton of time and frustration.

How is this different than td's?

You may or may not find it fair, but such is the legal position in the UK.
TDs operate from other jurisdictions where the laws and the enforcement of the laws are different.

To a tradings standards officer and a judge it is not relevant that a person can buy it himself from somewhere else. What matters is if the item is sold in the UK, and in this situation only the seller breaks the law.

The actual enforcement is somewhat patchy though, and to a considerable extent up to the discression of the local tradings standards officer. And the selling you are doing here might be considered too small scale to warrant action.
But if you come across one who sees it differently, the officer will have the law on his side.

As someone who never (legal covering of one's butt here) I might have seen the importing and exporting of tons of pharmaceuticals into and out of your wonderful country.
I might have asked for legal opinions on this..
I would have been told that importing anything controlled is equal to the exporting/sale of said item.

If you are selling something counterfeit it has to be proven you were aware and misrepresented it.

Since these are single items sold/brokered too/for friends there is no probable cause to suspect, pursue and hardly charge anyone with anything.

RWI for many years has been about buying rep watches for ourselves, introducing friends to the forum and even giving watches to family members. The process starts with an illegality; that's a given.

It has always been an absolute no no passing on one of our reps as gen and you will find dozens of threads covering the exposing of those deals.

Clearly there is a strange moral hypocrisy, for an example in enjoying the odd spliff and frowning on ganja dealing but it is a common stance.

This particular thread started off with discussion on a few non watch items for ourselves and wives/girlfriends but I suspect the reason that some of the older RWI members are asking where and how these bulk purchases are being passed on is not actually about the legality per se but about the tone of the RWI forum itself.

Having 16 friends who all want to wear the exact same watch is perhaps fairly common, I don't know, but is the direction of this thread about dealing the way RWI wants to go?

The answer to that is down to trailboss and the mods of course, I am just a visitor here for a bit of education and fun.

-While it is fun.

The DW should have a crown that is more pointed, no? My stepson has a genuine one. I bought a crap one a month back to the younger son and it looked like that. It broke, unfortunately, but I did order a new one (hasn´t arrived yet) that according to the sellers Pictures has a pointed crown.

But maybe there are other models? I am from Sweden though.... ;)

Wtf is happening here?? Can we all go back to items we bought??

Any who.. Just placed several items for my business. Found a bead wholesaler who has been wonderful! She/he/it or whatever has been extremely nice. Granted, I've been redirected to alababa for the sale as well I wanted to order a lot and they have a wholesale store there.. But I have bought many items from the store. Including the beads and heads for these bracelets!

I will edit this at work, and add the store link!

Also I ordered one of those multi tool wallet things the size of a credit card. For a dollar AND free shipping I'm expecting an envelope to show up with nothing (not really, I except it there.. Quality though?)

I will add the link at work as well!

Exactly!

About the bead bracelets, I showed my wife some of the pics from this thread and from others, and she thinks they look really cool with Rolex watches. If I just want one or two, is my best bet to either make one myself or just buy one from Ali?

I know that EZMPLS (Eric) was making these bead bracelets not long ago. I would contact him first to see what he can custom make for you, he's local to you and I as well.

The ones I bought from Ali have the knots tied funky and in the way.. Your beat best bet is to buy the stuff to make it so you can hide it where you want. I hide the knot hid in the head stone bead. But maybe a more expensive seller has it somewhere else?? The one I bought were like two bucks. But from the ones I'm wearing today, you can't see the knot at all where I hid it!

Not a bad idea. There's a tourist shop over in Stillwater on Main Street that sells trinkets and stuff, and in the basement they have all the beads, these heads and the string needed to make this stuff. I've never even given it any thought until I randomly showed my wife a pic and asked her what she thought.

Exactly! An ice cold Lift Bridge on the river at The Freight House, the leaves turning color in the background...

As much as I want to like that place, I can't right now. It's mismanaged so bad. Our Friends booked a party months in advance, even followed up on it a few weeks prior, they forgot about it. One waiter for 60-100 people.

Smallies is the place to go in that area. I like the Dock Cafe's patio for cigar smoking.

Sorry to go all off topic.

I just received a pair of Oakley's from AliExpress.

Anna Super Glasses

Oakley SwitchLock's in Gray.

I will say, they are better than I thought they would be frame/lens clarity wise. But the color is a lighter shade of gray than was pictured. Matte finish.. Also, I am not sure how much polarization there is if any. Comparing the sight to my gens Oak Fives squared, it's not polarized.

I have not marked these as received yet because I want to dispute the fact they are not polarized.
