I came across my first AE problem. I have been buying several items on AE over the past two weeks. I wanted to buy my wife a Chanel J12 for $38 :) and see how the quality is. I have hi-res photos of a $160 version so wanted to compare. Anyhow, to hide my purchase from the wife I used a Vanilla Visa gift card. Ive had it for many months and just havent used it. AE blocked my $38 purchase and asked for photos of my drivers license (front & back), as well as photos (f/b) of my credit card AND a copy of the credit card statement which I sent. They have now told me its all nto good enough and are requesting full hi-res front/back copies of the two main credit cards I have used on AE.

Frankly Im not very comfortable giving the chinese copies of my main two credit cards I use, considering they are the king of replication :)

On a side note, I had to report fraud on one of my credit cards (over $1000 charged for gasoline) and the only thing Ive done differently with that card is use it on a new website... AE.

I really don't see aliexpress messing with that. Frankly I've been using cards since 5 years at least on AE and nothing.
And asking those details any online store could ask it.. Even amazon

Hmm I use a vanilla debit card for AE and have never had a problem. Not really sure what happened.

Yeah I mean I doubt the fraud problem was from AE, but seems like they want way too much info on my other cards. WTF. I'm going to send them the pics but pixelate the 3 digit codes on the back of them.

Guys, I found something interesting. And yes, it's another MB Pen. It's Jules Verne limited edition, 16.500 pieces. Gen goes for $700-$1000 on eBay. You can get one for $12 case included ;)

Theme of this pen is "Twenty Thousand Leagues....." and should have 3d like shimmer of water waves. Stunning effect to say the least. Please tell us about it when it arrives.

Looks great. I actually haven't ordered it yet. I suppose the rep has these waves too, but they actually may look different. We'll see.

Aspinal of London have a legit eBay store - I got a mock crock wallet with blue suede lining for £25.

Aspinal of London seems like good prices. $80 USD for a croc wallet? Yes please! A calfskin Bottega Veneta is $250.
