Not only do I have one, in Italy everyone must have one. "I don't have an ID" doesn't make any sense in my country, therefore my question.

Not all countries have mandatory ID, UK being one. No idea why but it receives a lot of resistance whenever suggested!

Same for Ireland, nearly a revolution when they tried to bring in a centralised ID recently.
Makes perfect sense, but was shot down.

If you want to travel off island - passport
If you want to drive - driving license
If you want to avail of social welfare benefits- ID
If you want a bank account - photo ID
If you want access to utilities- bank account
If you work you have a tax number (basically a unique ID)

If none of the above, be one with nature, live off the land & enjoy having no ID hwell:

I am in no way in your league or C Master's, when it comes to scholarly stuff. When it comes to poetry, Yeats' works speak to me, but I tend to avoid all other poetry out of sheer boredom lol
