can someone explain to me the difference between the two BVF versions out , one with the 9015 and one with the 9039. I’ve seen some people say the 35mm 9015s don’t have a ghost date? How is is this possible, is the movement modded?
I see Jtime has 9015s and Geektime has the 9039s. Any preference over which to get? Would prefer no ghost-date, but didn’t know how much of a difference there was between these two miyotas.

Yes I understand that, but do the BVF santos with 9015s have ghost date positions?

Who did you order this updated dial version from?I saw some QC photos have updated there dial with no floating R on BVF santos medium. I just ordered too and GL it. Will post it here when my watch arrive

Is it safe to assume that the first 3 numbers of the serial number on the back of the case reflects what factory it came from? I recently purchased a Santos XL, and the first 3 numbers start with 139... Based on the TOW's comparison, I would assume its from AF, versus what I thought was BVF (138xxxxxx).
Did you end up buying any of the two? Looking to get the same two Cartier models for me and my gf. First time ever buying reps.im new here and looking forward to learn things.

What factory would you or any other expert choose when looking at this comparison? Or just in general. Is BVF still the safer choice?
I got my first rep recently ( rolex 114060 VSF) and now I want to buy a santos 35mm for myself and a panthere 27mm for my girlfriend. I rather she goes for the SS but she wants the SS and gold..
So im basically curious about the factory for both and also If someone could give some insight on the gold on the panthere. Will it stay nice the coming years?
I like to wear my watches ( i also have a couple of gen luxury watches) but im also careful. My gf however leaves her current watch lying around anywhere so scratches will come very soon I think.

I bought the af model. It is really well made but I only have the problem that it is a little tight on my wrist, I would need an additional link. Do you know if it is possible to have it somehow?
Reach out to your TD they can source one for you. It takes forever and will cost a little but I have the same problem. Now when I order watches I tell them my wrist measurements and usually order an extra link.
Do you guys know if this (35 mm with a gray dial from AF) is a fantasy piece? I like the watch but could not find an auth watch with this gray dial (only green and blue) in 35 mm. Thanks.
