Hello watch peeps, I'm going to build my first watch, a Tudor Submariner 7928 Raffles build, ( thanks to excellent advice from @dpd3672 ).

I've looked a lot of old threads on RWI about ways to age dials and hands, I'm curious if anyone has a preferred method that they thought worked well.

Oven?
Coffee?
Tea?
Some kind of varnish?

At the moment, I think I'm going to try the coffee method.

Appreciate any advice.

Hate to point you at another long thread, but our own 1016 thread has just about everything you could ever want to know about making a vintage watch.

It's a long thread, and growing every day, but if you place your order with Raffles and knock out 10 or so pages a day, you'll be caught up when your watch arrives.
