Hey guys

Till now i always been setting my hands with single setting tools by hand. Now i ordered a 4 dip pressure machine.:

Ich habe gerade diesen erstaunlichen Artikel auf AliExpress gefunden. Probiere ihn aus! CHF103.01 | 4 Pin Automatische Uhr Hand Installation und Fitting Werkzeuge 8935 Uhr Nadel Installation für Reparatur 2035/2671/2892/E2000

How do I adjust the heigh so that the hands are perfectly settes when totally pressed down, lr how does this work?

On these tools there is not an automatic amount of plunger depression that provides a correct hand settling. It remains your determination of proper pressure and amount of downward stroke.

This one appears to lock in your fore and aft (but not lateral) center position with the lower silver round support mount and the movement holders. I dislike that restriction as I use my own various movement holders and enjoy positioning them at will under the plunger.

To set subdial hands, you would have to rotate the movement to put the centers under the plungers.

Thanks for your answer.
With tuening on the wheels up and down i guess I actually can adjust how far it goes down to the maximum?

There normally is no adjustment at all on the plungers. They have a fixed maximum amount of downward travel, and rotating them does nothing as they simply spin freely.

Those collars with set screws are there just to anchor and help guide the plungers and keep them from popping up and out.

Thanks for clarifying this!

This will limit the force.

You can also machine or 3d print a collar that goes on top of that screw down metal collar. Do the length you need. It will limit the travel of the plunger and you can perfectly adjust height by putting down force on a plunger and screwing the metal collar. I have done it like that before works great

I bought 2 because I have to enlarge the center hole to accommodate the GMT movement and seeing how it's real stone I need a backup in case of emergency, haha.
