I can't take it anymore!

I have been waiting forever for a 3714-01. I NEED ONE NOW!

texski and concepta are out of my price range and are backed up until like the year 2030. Incredible work, though, I only wish :frustrating:

The ones offered on the rep sites, even though equipped with newly updated movements, are still time bombs!

AHHHHH I JUST DON'T KNOW!:frusty::cry::frusty::cry::frusty:

How much more life will i get out of a rep dealer watch if I get one of their "29J" movements serviced properly by someone who knows what the hell they are doing?

Several times I have stared for hours at the "complete purchase" button on my computer screen, beer in hand, but can never pull the trigger due to me being scared of that movement!!!!!!!

....help me:unsure:

It's not that I am worried about the money loss, it's that I don't have the initial money after blowing my whole savings on my "our" wedding.

So I want the watch, can't afford texski or concepta, but want the watch to last for longer than a month.

So, I wouldn't mind getting the new 29J version, but only if I can get it serviced to make it last and make it worth my little bit of money that I have.

Quite the conundrum you have...better consult the other half now to decide this.

I bought the automatic in rose gold with black face and brown strap

Just do it. Enjoy now and figure out what to do when it breaks when it actually breaks. Mine is keeping time great and working flawlessly after 2 weeks.

If you're already willing to shell out for Concepta/Texski work, why no just buy the 29j version and send to Domi for properly fixing?

I heard Domi's work was not the greatest.

I would go for a quartz just for now but need to know if the case size is the same as the auto. It seems to be a little larger

From who?

i read it in one of the threads. can't remember if it was this one or the other forums.

also from one guy who does a lot of work with this stuff

i'm not intending to spread anything malicious. just from what other people say

Touch, the Quartz version looks almost like a completely different watch to me. It's....okay....but not stunning like the other models.

Bonesey, I don't have the money to dish out for Domi's fix, which is why I would buy one if a good servicing would make it last almost at long as Domi's fix for a fraction of the cost?

I think its ROLEXMAN that is recommended for the "seconds at 6".

I got a mrs a seconds at 6 Daytona, which she only wears maybe twice a week, but has been going well for a year now. I say buy the 7750. If it breaks, send it off for a repair. or buy a new movement!

Your problem solved?
Can source one for you with the following specs:

gen eta 7750 movement
rep dial, hands, crowns, case, strap (calf leather though), buckles, etc
water proof 30m tested
sapphire glass of course

not cheap though, you'll need 755USD
