I have my Daytona rep at my watchmaker and talked with him about additional rubis to build in. He smiled and told me in his opinion the movement has the same problem as old russian movements ... small metal chips in the movement from making blocking the free movement of the wheels. I try a cleaning service and will see if the problems have been disappeared then.

References suggest that the rubee fix is much more reliable and longer term. Only time will tell
Finally got my watch back from Domi today with the 3 jewel fix. Total cost 270USD including shipping.
The watch feel much smoother than before on wind up. It now feel as I would have expected.
Finally got it al resolved. Domi has done agreat job. all alignment is good and now it keeps time very well. I highly recommend this fix for sec @ 6

You can try what I start to do now, I ordered from a TD, which offers triangle shipping, directly sent to Domi, via their triangle process. As to shipping out from Germany, I'll figure out that problem later he he he...
