Hi, gang!

I'm undertaking this with a heavy heart but determined to respect my late brother's wishes.

Here's a quick review of the Rolex Explorer II with black dial AND A WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF I was able to secure from aliexpress.com and the seller, "Super Clone Watch Store: this purchase (for $99 usd) included not just the watch, but the outer watch box, inner watch box, manual, owner's card, hang tag, yada, yada. All came heavily wrapped, which took me a while to dig out. The watch itself, a Rolex Explorer II, is a pretty decent rep -- probably in the low $100+ price level. It's weight is 146 grams, measures 43mm across (gen is 42mm) and is 13mm thick (a little thicker than the gen). Its face/dial are acceptably done and at quick galance, looks like the gen & would look so to the "99.999%" of the public; as I said in its posting for last night's wristie: it would fool the "99.999%" of the public; the WISes: the "0.001%" would not be; but, I never deceive the general public and would readily identify it as a rep/copy if asked. E.G.: from looking at the gen on Rolex.com, the gen's GMT hand on a black face is only half orange; the date etchings on the dial are not as black as those on the gen; etc. But, HEY, like most of you, I wear these reps FOR ME. I really get a charge out of wearing reps of watches I could NEVER afford in this life -- unless I won the Million Dollar lottery. As previously noted, the watch and stuff came well wrapped, so here's a "brief" pictorial of its unwrapping, along with some commentary -- if I think of it. dave:

UNWRAPPING THE BOX:

Took me quite a while to cut through all the tape, wrapping, etc., to make sure I didn't damage anything in the process:

Wrapped VERY WELL!

IT CAME WITH A ROLEX GIFT BAG AS WELL!! Never saw one of these, except at A.H.Riss's Rolex store in St.Thomas, USVI.:

UNDERNEATH THE SHOPPING BAG, more stuff began to appear:

OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX:

INNER BOX CONTENTS -- A WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF:

TA DA!!!

THE WATCH ITSELF:

SOME QUICK WRISTIES:

AND, to anticipate the requests & questions, here's the link to this sale: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Luxu...tic-Mens-Watch-With-Original/32375712166.html

Hope this was informative for you; I'm just glad I didn't post ALL the pics I took. Comments, of course, are always welcome.

Uh, Gang! I don't know why the second picture didn't appear; all were there during the PREVIEW OF POST.

Great post, saw that they also offer a two year warranty. That's not something you see everyday.

Edit: I just bought http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-...ose-Gold-Metallic-Black-Dial/32376279345.html just for fun. It's not that correct if you look at the gen, but it looked good anyway :)

Wow, I like that BFF for that money!!

Great pick up on the GMT Dave. You really can get some decent stuff on Ali with a little research. I've never bought a watch from there yet, but lots of other good stuff

Thanks, Em.!

I don't know the factory, but the product is decent; only the bracelet is a little flimsy.

I haven't removed the caseback to check, but I'll do that during the weekend and post some pics on this specific posting so you'll know where to find it. I just assume it's your typical workhorse A21j. Thanks for asking, R.

dave

May I know about the movement? 21j?

Not that loose: I check out and tighten the link screws whenever I receive a watch that has them to ensure there are no surprises while I'm wearing it. Some mates on RWG told me I need to "tap" the link next to the case so it won't "disintegrate," so I did with my jeweler's hammer, but I don't see any severe looseness there. The spring bars are solidly in the case lugs.

dave

How loose are the link in the band?[/QUOTE]

Vendor says it has "ShangHai MingZhu Automatic Movement"

Good! You beat me to it, r.! Thanks for the info, but I must confess my ignorance here: I'm not certain if this is a good factory or not.

Thanks, B.! Appreciate the comments. Yes, it's quite a bundle and a bargain for the price. I encourage you to try one of the watches; remember: if you don't like it, you call always sell it to clowns like me, heh!

See.... you post these threads. I say.... "that looks like a decent watch...pretty good deal". Then, I go and buy another watch. :)

I think that MingZhu is a 2813.

It's particularly interesting that there are multiple price levels for the same models indicating there may be some difference between them. Is it possible that any of our noob or BP or j12 watches could be in this giant maze?

Sorry to say it mate but the watch looks a bit too canal street and the box and other 'goodies' I've seen for £6(gbp) on Ali, seems a bit expensive to me! Sorry to be that guy :/
