Taken when I was in Brussels. Powered by the most unreliable chronograph movement on the market (mystery movement). If you have this watch, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, even think to start the chronograph.

Nope it does not. But many horror stories if you start playing with the chrono. It runs well, great power reserve and keeps great time.

I have the same watch but in black with silver subdials Taka. I ran the chrono's for a couple of hours when I first got it to distribute the oils about (if there were any!!!) and everything seems fine. Be aware though, I've rarely used the chrono function since because of the early A7750 movements reputation...

Trevor has a couple of these. He has one that is a Venus 75 Manual Handwind . Would the hand wind model be more reliable?

This is also a handwound model with Mystery Movement inside. It is different from the Venus copy/Seagull that powers vintage Daytona. If you notice, the pusher is assymetrical on this one just like the gen. This is the famous David Wong's case.

I have the same watch, built by SpinMaster. He deconstructs the movement and builds it all back - not sure what he does in there. He could tell me and I still wouldn't be sure. You should PM him Taka and get details. Mine runs and resets like a champ!!

Thank you very much for the tips. Nevertheless, I am intending to put a Valjoux 72 in there when the opportunity arises. Besides, I won't/have not intention at all to use the chrono.
