Yes it is the same.... and this is not why he was no-saled here... but obviously, CBR was happy enough with the watch that he reviewed it which sheds new light on it...

Kind of funny that CBR is a mod here, supposedly purchased the watch off my thread on RG (while it was also posted here), and reviewed it here as well. And, I have no access to my PM's to even recall the communication that went between CBR and I.

John, you are absolutely right... this is the same watch. What you have failed to mention is that we communicated both before and after I purchased the watch AND again after I received the watch.

Before I purchased the watch from you, I sent three PM's on RG asking about what appeared to be a horrible gap between the SEL and the case. The gap is easily visible in these pictures which you took and posted on RG.

If you cant see the gaps, I can circle it for you...

Via PM you stated that it was a shadow in the photograph and that there was no gap... That the fitment was PERFECT. You even wrote THIS in the sales thread:

Just to answer a few questions:

- This is the full size men's, 36mm version, NOT the midsize.

- I noticed in the picture that the SEL shows a huge gap between the link and the case. I can assure you that this is just the picture, and it is not lose at all. It is actually very tight and close to the case. Overall, a VERY solid watch.

I bought the watch, received the watch and guess what... HUGE GAP between the SEL and case on one side and the spring bars were thrashed beyond use to get them even to hold.

I wrote back again, asking why you would lie about this and was basically told that I was over reacting and that there was no gap. You even attempted to state that it must have been shipping damage. I again replied stating that it could not have been shipping damage and that I was not over reacting. Also, the other items that were to have been included in the sale were not in the box.

Had I never seen the pics, never asked a direct question and never been given a direct answer... I would have taken no issue with you, the watch or the situation. Besides the SEL fitment, it was a very nice watch.

I spent 4 hours grinding, filing, sanding and polishing BOTH SEL's (had to match them) after you stopped answering my messages.

CBR - This was probably due to him being no-saled here.... he would have had no access to his pm's...

The bracelet that JS included is not the original bracelet for the watch... BUT, it is correctly engraved as a 72200. Which matches the Stainless steel with white gold bezel Turn-O-Graph. The bracelet has a beautiful comfort link extension and spring loaded thumb lift. I did have to massage the end links in order to get perfect alignment so that genuine spring bars could be installed. But it came out well, and I am very pleased.

Why did you give such a nice mention of the bracelet if you had to do all the work to the end links?

Luckily, I have all my PM's and my emails. I am going to publicly put them up for everyone to see. I don't know if you remember, but I DID offer you a $20 refund to remedy the situation (in PM) and I told you that the fitment would be perfect, guaranteed (in an email). I was more than happy to help you out, but you declined. I'll allow the public to decide.

Because after 4 hours of work, they were very nice... Look at the before and after pics of the SEL's.

It was not because the bracelet arrived in good condition, it was because alot of work had to be done to make it right.

$20 was for the items that "were not included in the box"...

Are you denying the fact that you misrepresented the bracelet???
Sure, there were several emails back and forth... and of course you have them, you havent had access to them until today. They are still there.
You can post them if you want... It has nothing to do with the fact that you misrepresented the bracelet fitment.

Understandable. But perhaps if you had made this mention in the review some of this confution could have been avoided. Theres a big difference in "massaging them" and "4 hours of sanding and grinding".
You also made no reference to them being screwed up when JS replied to your review.
