I was sitting there thinking the other night about the amount of work that had gone into the REF thread, actually sitting in amazement that someone has the time to do it as I know I couldn't with my hectic life - then I realized just how grateful I was that ALE had taken all the worry/stress/guesswork and disappointment out of the rep PAM buying process - I know exactly what I want/need, all the flaws, all the pros, from who to get it from and for how much - how frikkin cool is that??!!

Above all, its always nice to get recognition for your hard work - we take it for granted just what a great resource we have in ALE and the whole team here - I know everyone shares the same sentiment, so a little public lovefest never hurt anyone!

ALE: love the modesty mate, but soak it up man, you deserve it.

As a relatively new guy here I hugely appreciate the info provided and have done enough reading to understand the wealth of knowledge experience and attention to detail that's gone into that. Must say I wasn't a really big PAM fan ... (I'm ducking the sticks and stones as I type) ..... But I am definitely a convert now. In choosing for a purchase there's a balance between personal taste, pure aesthetics and then the quality of the rep itself and the accuracy to the gen. I found myself torn trying to weigh those things out ..... And not having a such a good handle on it. But I find that Ale's guide has helped big time to sort that out by his categorization. Awesome. I may go for something that I find pleasing to my eye and the style I want ..... But may also know it's not necessarily the most accurate rep or best made. But that's OK. At least I know. Gotta love the Coles notes version. So ...... Although it's been said .... Many times many ways .... ........
