Hello gents, I'm reposting this info from HF in case someone misses these news.
After several months of preparation and work, Davidsen is finally able to release a project many considered impossible: a modified 6497 with Rolex 618 shaped bridges.
This might sound easy to some, but trust me it is not.
A very well known HF member helped with the drawings needed to develop this project which involved re-designing and adapting the whole Rolex bridges design down to the smallest detail in order to make them fit with a completely different main plate design.
I won't go into further details and I won't post the drawings unless I am ok'd by the member who made them, I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking for now:
Rolex 618 type 4
New DSN 618 tyoe 4
This is going to be a huge step forward in the vintage Panerai scene as it will allow to have correct looking movements at a fair price.
Now everybody get building!
