First, Im happy that I was able to bring his watch back to life. Not only that, but it's relumed, has its o-rings greased and HE valve sealed.

Secondly, I HATE 2813's. I know how to work with them now(a little), but boy was it a surprise when that little spring flew out of the case. I was on hands and knees with a flashlight looking for this...

Strodda:

I assume that you have already received thanks from the members personally involved with this case for stepping in and offering your assistance, but I also want to thank you, from a staff standpoint, for providing such a quick and elegant solution to the problem.

As you know, it was a sticky situation which was quickly getting worse. Your offer did a lot to calm things down, and now we finally have a proud and happy buyer. Members like you make RWI the forum that it is! :)

You're a man of great patience, S.! I've been there on the floor with both a flashlight and my magnetic pick up tool more times than I care to count -- but that's the sign of a dedicated modder/repairsman. Great job on the SD.

And it's character-building.

Speaking of someone who also has a magnetic pick up tool and has had to use it liberally, I can relate. :)

Ma'am,

There is not enough words for me to thank Strodda! He has been awesome!

I believe you. :)

By the way, is it because I'm a mod that I get addressed "Ma'am" all the time? Because although it's somewhat of an improvement from "sir", I can assure you that it's quite unnecessary. We run a friendly forum, and while we would like to be respected, formal address is unnecessary. Unless it comes with a salute. No one ever salutes me. I'm not sure that we even salute trailboss99. :)

Well thank you all very much!!! :)

I know crap happens all the time, Im just glad I could help a member with a watch in need. And I learned something. I was able to pop my 2813 cherry. And on that same note, I definitely need to get a magnetic pickup.

and Rick, *noted* I will be extra careful now.
