A dressy PAM ?

Hello

I'm novice about Panerai but since a fews days I read the section and now I know I want a PAM.

But there is so many models and versions, I want a dressy PAM, polished bezel, case polished or brushed, with a second hand at 9, not a dusty dial effect.
Radiomir is more dressy but I like Luminor too.

A model from a recent build because I want a nice decoration on the movement.

Any advices ?
Thanks !

If you want dressy, it has to be radiomir.

Either 288 or 388 for me.....I have the 288 but it's a closed back

I agree with stealthy to an extent. Definitely a radiomir, but a polished radiomir to be more precise in my opinion. 388, 380, 210, 183...etc. Slim profile adds to the dressiness of the watch for sure.

If you want dressy Pam, my opinion is it has to be a radiomir and preferably non-chrono.
388 definitely fits the bill. Mine says hello:

Finally, I bought a 359 because I like numerals but my next will be a 388 for sure.

It depends on what you are meaning with "dressing" watch

A completely FORMAL dressing watch should be a Radiomir. In this case I recommend you KW PAM 388
If you like a less formal dressy watch PAM 111 or PAM 417 will be perfect. IMO the more dressy Luminor is PAM 390, it has no seconds subdial @9 but is really awesome. Please consider it.

Though the RADs are by far the dressier Panerai , I find a White Dial tends to fit the bill better try a 003/113 with a Black Gator

How about hand wound rad. They are slimmer to fit under sleeve as well.

Stainless steel rads would be the general suggestion, with manual wind movement should you prefer a slimmer profile.

I know the 390 from Noob is considered a super-rep but are any of the others?
If I'm reading your Reference Guide properly, the KW 388 isn't quite at that level?

Thanks.

There are a few reps classified as super-reps besides 390. Go through the guide again. 111, 292j, 390,, 127.......

for me the PAM 513 is quite a dress watch, a 1940 radiomir with only 42mm diameter
I have one and it's the only pam in my collection that I can wear with a suit

I should have been more specific, I was referring to those models mentioned upthread, namely the 359 and 388.

The 292j looks great but alas, is not a dress watch, as does the 127 which I can't find in stock from any of the TDs :culpability:

Hi guys, I am also looking for a dressy Pam but I feel that a 45 Radiomir would be a bit too big for me.
Is there any good 42mm alternative to the
KW PAM 388?
