Yep the fact that this is not a regulateur kills it, but that's just me and even if this also appear on a Gen does not legitimate it ...

I have a picture of this watch next to a dssd and this watch looks almost bigger! I will try to find it for you when I'm home this evening...

I think I saw a discussion of this somewhere else, and the phrase "regulateur a tourbillon" means "regulated by a tourbillon" and is not intended to mean that it is a regulator watch, which has the hours, minutes, and second hands on separate dials.

There might also possibly be two sizes for the JLC Tourbillon. According to my JLC catalogue, there is the JLC Master Tourbillon, and the JLC Master Grand Tourbillon, which are 41.5mm and 43mm respectively.

I'm looking for a mechanical (not automatic) dress watch in the 35-38mm range. No date, no nothin' except the time.

Quite hard to find Wuggy - I had a couple of beautiful manual wind Breguets that fit that description, but 3 dealers told me they were out of stock and factories are only making bad versions of them now.

Any know how good of a rep this is? Is it accurate, is the movement reliable? I think it looks great but the low price is throwing me off. . .

I REALLLLLLLLY want a Vacheron Constantin Americain rep, cant find one though. . .

I like the look of the watches from 40-50 years ago where they were as slim as possible and all around 35mm. Today's big huge things are annoying for me to wear and so I end up wearing nothing :(

I love the look of Breguets but it seems they're all 40mm+, sometimes 42-43.

I'm kind of a Roadster fan, although I would prefer this for my wife. She looks sexy as hell with a "man" size watch AND I am certain she is enthusiastic about Cartier.

Otherwise, I might stick with something "Bondish", Sub, 42mm PO, etc;. Even that DW vintage Daytona would be adequate. I believe my overall appearance is more "blunt instrument" than refined and graceful.

Sorta' liking this too...

I think we have similar taste although 35mm is too small for me, 38 - 40mm is ideal. I'll post links if I find anything suitable. Gen Breguets are smaller than the reps so in one sense the size could be considered a tell. Very disappointing that factories no longer making the nice 38mm manual classique, such a lovely looking watch. :(

I've seen different specifications on this watch, but my understanding is that it's closer to 43mm, or even possibly 40mm. What is the mistake on the dial you're referring to? I know it doesn't have the second time zone and date complication of the genuine article, but I don't think there's any replica tourbillon that's truly accurate to the genuine watch.

here are Ska pics from replica watch guide, the 38mm I told you that next to a DSSD it looks big:

No way that's 38mm. Put a DJ next to that DSSD and you'll see how dramatic the size difference is.
That looks 43-45mm based on the DSSD next to it.

I know that it's not 38mm but this is the watch advertised as such, I just wanted to show to honeybear how the watch he ordered really looks

Thanks. Hont said that the watch is 42mm, not sure if there are multiple sizes of this.

Just got my JLC Master Tourbillon, and It is approximately 42mm across, not including the crown. It uses a 22mm strap.
