Oh, and the drivers all had nice watches;

And what looked like a hublot tourbillon, but I couldn't get a close enough look see for sure. It was definitely a HBB skeleton of some description... Watch and car porn today.

Recently had the chance to drive both the 458 and the SLS on the track.
Have to say that the SLS was quite a let down. Very cramped inside, sluggish gearbox, so so handling. When you got it pointed straight, it did go and what a sound!
The 458......I would sell my soul to have one. Makes even the hamfisted, like myself, look good.

I have the previous body E AMG.
The Vanquish is a fun car to drive & great looker (watch out for electrical problems), but I always hated the DB9's. Rubbish car overall, you couldn't give me one!
Aventador looks killer, I've not driven one, but some of my owner friends have sold them because they lack "rawness" associated w a car of that caliber (same goes w 458's)

They trade in very often. Everybody is awaiting delivery of Spyder 458 or SLS versions, and with the new F12 incoming....!

The MP4 is awesome! A client of mine has a white one - lethal! The factory recently released an update that will be applied retrospectively free-of-charge to all of the original cars as well... Cool, huh?!
Yeh, the all new Range Rover is currently an 18 month lead time. It was just awarded world luxury car of the year and worldwide demand has seen the factorys (thought-to-be!) ambitious sales forecasts absolutely obliterated. We're yet to receive our demonstrators, but we have 2 coming, including a Supercharged Autobiography. There'll be a fight on for the keys to those car for a couple of weeks, i'm sure! The first customers cars are due to arrive any day now too, so it's exciting times!
I was lucky enough to have a crawl through Australia's only Aston Martin one-77 last week as well... A friend of mine sold it to its young owner and it returned for some work while I was at the dealership talking to him. I've seen prettier cars (that's just my opinion) but it really is an absolutely amazing machine. Wow!
Anyone in Brisbane has the chance to see it regularly around Park Rd and Caxton St - and there's no mistaking this car for anything else on the road - such is its distinctive look... The number plates are 'Gotham'.
Other than that, there has been little else of much interest lately....
