Just look at his other handful of valuable posts on this forum. Then a picture will emerge. About him, not the TD.An enthralling story and in such detail; I couldn’t stop until I’d read to the end.
you are absolutely right, i posted a thread yesterday and i thought that you saw it, excuse me for that. So that's what happened with mr Steave...Hi there and welcome to the forum.
You can’t just shout out one sentence accusations, mate. Steve has been a Trusted Dealer for years. What’s going on here, so he can respond
I don't see the issue. You bought a counterfeit item from China and expect an AD-like experience. Stick with gens.you are absolutely right, i posted a thread yesterday and i thought that you saw it, excuse me for that. So that's what happened with mr Steave...
I bought from them 2 watches, both of them had issues….. the first one was easy to fix, so I sent it to a watchmaker, he fixed it and I got it back.
The second one had bigger problems, so I sent it to the same watchmaker, and after a week or so he replied that the watch had many issues and that we had to find new mechanism.
After that, I sent an email to a guy called Steve and he said, ok no problem, we are going to order a new one from the factory and I’ll send it to you…
I was waiting for the mechanism for two months, so decided to send another mail to Steve and ask him about it and his answer was that the factory can not produce it anymore and because I had it over a year ( when I first sent his an email it was still on warranty) the warranty was expired and also someone else, except those guys, opened it, so now they can not replace it and instead they offered me 50$ discount for my next order
I forgot to mention that I bought that watch for 528$ and the offer was only 50…..
Anyway, I’m not expecting anything from them anymore, the only reason I’m writing this is because I want to share my experience with that company.
If someone is interested to buy a watch from them, my advice would be to think twice
What was wrong with the watches?Stay away from those guys if you don't want to loose your money!!!!!
that's your opinion and i respect it. In my opinion he had to sent me another mechanism, even if i had to pay something for that and not asking me to buy a new one!!!!! 500$ every year ? i don't think so....I don't see the issue. You bought a counterfeit item from China and expect an AD-like experience. Stick with gens.
i placed my order June 2021 and i received it one month later. Last july (2022) i sent it to a watchsmith and i got those photos. He tried to find a new movement but he couldn't so last september i sent an email to steave and i explained the situation. his answer was that i had to wait 6-8 weeks for the new movement and i said ok, no problem at all!Timing would be helpful to complete the picture of your transaction.
So far it seems, that you received a faulty product, sent it to a watchsmith, asked for a new movement, which wasnt available and got a $50 offer.
Painted like that, I see an issue with the TDs approach, $50 really isnt a reasonable discount on a $500 watch, that was pretty clearly fucked up right from the factory, but we dont know details, so, if you care to elaborate, so we can judge the validity of your claim and / or Steve can step in to deal with the situation.
As you can see by his own account (and multiple posts / threads ), he had this watch for a year. Then it had issues and that became the TDs fault. A clear example of clownery at it's finest.for sure the timeline of dialogue is needed to determine if Steve owes OP some compensation over and above the $50
since 07/2022 the watch is at the watchsmith.... and you believe that it's normal one year later to have those issues ?06/2021 order
07/2021 delivery
You have no claim and the $50 offer was more than generous.
