Some days before it came into poccesion a pam 212 with the a7750..The chronograph seconds hand didn't reset exactly to zero as it supposed to be..So it now is in my watchmaker..
But before sendind, i had an idea..I thought maybe i will let the seconds hand run and paused it when it was above the zero??Then i would live it like this..
Is it ok or i would destroy the movement??

It is a perfectly good solution to your problem.
The chronos on an A7750 should be regarded as decoration only IMO. Actually using the chrono is just asking for trouble.

Perfect cosmetic solution!! No problems
I have made the same with a mine one.
It is no worth touching a A7750. It will have other issues...
Just, if you push reset unintentionally or accidentally, you must make the same another time.

For the reset button you are absollutely right..
Some years before i went to a watchmaker, to show him a rep daytona i used to have..
I forgot to say that he was a stupid..He didn't know how to stop the chronometer..OMG

He must have pressed the reset for over two times until i stopped him and showed him..Then he said: oo ok..
He did again the same mistake..
I remember it and i don't know what to do..laugh or shoot him lol...

I thought the A7750 was a copy of the Eta Valjoux 7750 but the Chinese must have skipped some parts because on the Eta 7750 there's no problem pressing the reset when the chrono is running. Is the reset pushing when the chrono is running a problem with both the lowbeat and the highbeat versions of the A7750?

Yes is the same! Even, some problems are bigger with low beat!
A7750 is not a exact copy of ETA 7750 and it has a lot of issues
There are two things you cannot do with A7750

- Change the date between 10-2 horas (9-3h)
- Restart chrono when it is running

I must add:
- You cannot trust it
- You cannot expect good working for years
- You cannot be impatient with it
LOL

You shouldn't change the date between 10 and 2 even with a GEN!

I always do it!
With all watches rep or gen and with all movements
I think that it is no necessary.

But, it is not a big problem and, in this way, I don't take risks!!

Sorry to be a noob here on this 7750 but, to be clear, don't change the date between the hours of 10 AM or PM to 2 AM or PM? Does it matter? What if the watch stopped at 11:00 and you need to set it and reset the date to 2:00 does that mean you can't or shouldn't change the date in that timeframe?

Sorry for being confusing...I just got my first 7750 in an IWC pilot 3717 so I'd love to know!

Thanks!

When you need change the date on an A7750:
Either watch running or stopped, just adjust the time at 6,30 and then change the date.
It is easy and you take no risks

HELLO I HAVE A
Asian Valjoux 7750, the movement is stuck at 7 min and the chrono second hand is stuck at 57seconds, is there a way to recalibrate it ?

It is quite weird that people are still buying expensive replica (like the AP and the Panerai) with such unreliable movement
